The process typically involves several key steps:
Sign Up: You begin by signing up with the playlist pitching service after speaking to our A&R team. MPT and the musician come to an agreement, sign a contract with clear KPI’s, services and campaign goals mentioned in the contract.
Music Submission: After signing up, you’ll submit your music track(s) along with any relevant information to one of our dedicated account managers. You clarify: genre, mood, and target audience if you want.
Strategy and Planning: Our team reviews your submission and develops a tailored strategy, audience target groups (that you approve) This includes identifying target playlists, curators, artists lookalikes, genres, crossover interests and promotional tactics.
Pitching to Curators: We then pitche your music to selected playlist curators. This step requires patience as curators receive many submissions. Independent playlist owners and official Spotify editorial playlist curators received your release.
Monitoring and Feedback: Once your music is placed on playlists, MPT will monitor its performance, including streams, listener engagement, and other key metrics.
Reporting: MPT provides regular reports every Friday detailing the performance and progress of your campaign, offering insights into listener engagement and reach, including Zoom, or Google Meet meetings once a week to review results.
Completion and Evaluation: At the campaign’s end, you’ll receive a final detailed report. This is an excellent opportunity to evaluate the campaign’s success and plan future marketing efforts.
